In late September 2009, St. Edward School’s student body and staff celebrated the fifth annual Race for Education and it was a resounding success! Participants received pledges and donations to walk, jog, or run the perimeter of the school for an hour, with many of the adults extending that time. This was the largest and most well attended race thus far and included hosting an estimated 800 additional people on campus through the participation of parents, grandparents, relatives, friends and sponsors, all coming out to either accompany their favorite pandas along the route or to cheer them on from the sidewalks!
