Academics
Curriculum
St. Edward School is dedicated to the education of the total child. We strive to provide for the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, cultural and social development of the student.
The core curriculum is composed of Catholic Religion, reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and physical education. Enrichment classes include music, art and library. Support services for Gifted and Talented, Speech Therapy and Title I are provided on campus through the Iberia Parish School Board.
Each spring the Stanford Achievement Test (SAT), tenth edition, is administered to students in grades kindergarten through third. The Otis Lennon School Ability Test (OLSAT), seventh edition, is also administered to first grade students.
For additional information please contact April Byrom, Curriculum Coordinator.
